Managing Tags

In MapStore, the Tags Manager is an administrative tool designed to manage tags to be used as a sort of keywords for resources. It is possible for authenticated users with editing rights on a certain resource (map, dashboard, etc.) to assign one or more existing tags to the resource itself within the resource properties. The Tags thus created are shown inside the resource cards and all users, including anonymous ones, can filter resources by tags by clicking directly on one of them or using the available Filter panel in the Homepage.

As an admin user, it is possible to manage Tags by selecting Manage Tags option from the button on the Homepage:

The Tags panel opens, allowing the admin user to:

• Create a New tag through the button and customize it by adding a Name, a Description and choosing a Color for the label.

• Search for a tag using the search bar

• Edit a tag through the button next to each tag in the list.

• Remove a tag through the button next to each tag in the list.
