Exploring Contexts

In MapStore the Context is an tool designed to build and configure MapStore's viewers: the user is able to configure a custom MapStore viewer by choosing:

  • The name of the context (the viewer will have its own specific URL)
  • The default map configuration and map contents (like layers, backgrounds, catalogs, CRSs etc)
  • The set of plugins available for the viewer

From each context's card the user can:

  • Delete the context by selecting the option from the button in the upper right corner of the context card.

  • Share the context by selecting the option from the button in the upper right corner of the context card.

  • Add/Remove to favorites the context through the button in the lower right corner of the context card.

  • Create a map from the context through the button in the lower right corner of the context card.

  • Edit the context through the Edit context button in the lower right corner of the context card.

  • Open the context Properties through the button in the lower right corner of the context card.
